Coffee packaging is mostly look like a three-sutural and four-sutural package. Some manufacturers also use a pack of degassing valves. The valve allows carbon dioxide to be discharged from the coffee pack and protects against oxygen. For packaging are used vertical packaging machines.
The dosage of coffee depends on its type:
So for ground coffee (powdered products) is used a screw dosing module. Product feed is carried out using a screw conveyor. When packaging ground coffee, it is recommended to install an aspiration system to remove dust, especially at speeds above 25 packages per minute.
Coffee beans (bulk products) are dosed using weight modules. As a rule, it is for coffee beans that a degassing valve is installed in the bags.
Freeze-dried coffees (powdered products) are dosed using screw modules. For automation of production, the packaging machine is additionally equipped with a screw conveyor.
